A cinematic triptych by MICHAUD that traces one life in three acts: in the first panel a young couple lies in bed as a beam of light pierces the window and lands on the woman's belly, a mythic moment of origin; in the second, that child is now a boy in a purple hoodie standing alone on a school playground, separated by a stark white line from four boys staring him down; in the third, as a young man holding a duffel bag outside First City Bank, he faces a woman and two children across that same white line, a quiet, emotionally charged confrontation about inheritance, trauma, and consequence rendered in hyper-realistic digital photography style.
